I am trying replace the liner, but don't know how it is attached to the moonroof? I think I found one post saying something about the metal ring on the inside lip, am I suppose to pull on this? I got the outside edge plastic pieces removed already. I see someone had put what looks like duct tape on the rear center of this piece of metal, is the metal split there, for easy removal of this trim piece?

Also, looking for the ABS replacement headliner, but only found 1 person selling a moonroof liner
(http://www.stockinteriors.com). Anybody know if anyone sells this headliner? Also, dose it include the shade that slides across the window. Would also need to do the visors at the same time so it matches material. I have a lighted/mirror right visor also.

I too have an ASC moonroof. My headliner seemed to have been glued in place and I ended up tearing it out but kept it in 1 piece for a template. I have yet to replace it. The hard ABS headliners will not work from what I ve read. ASC did not recess their moonroof as much as factory so the dish is wrong. And it is not in the same spot as factory either. I plan on getting some double sided dynamat like material and then a headliner fabric blank and making my own. I dont see any options available.
Can I ask you a question on the wiring? I had my controll switch break. Can you tell me or take a picture of the backside of the switch so I can see what wires go to each post?I found a rocker switch that fits in the ASC trim piece but cant seem to get it to work. I know there is a built in jumper inside the switch supplying power to the other side so I ll have to make that jumper with mine. But if you can tell/show me how ASC wired it that might help a lot.

Maybe I don't have a ASC moonroof, I think it is factory installed, because it has backing board all the way to the front & I have a hole for manual crank next to the moonroof switch. Unfortunately my RPO sticker is gone. Does that mean I have more options? If I order the back board from stockinteriors, what color do I order?

Hmm. I know Brian is very busy but he always returns my emails.
The color for the headliner is Grey on a GN.

Email him directly at bweavy@aol.com

I'd order from Highway Stars (nos4GN). Guaranteed they will never screw you over. Read up on the vendors section and choose wisely.
