Well folks, after many long months of looking, it came down to having to sell my somewhat rare and immaculate truck...

Then I went to the bank and took out a small loan to help purchase....

Next to my Chevelle....

I found this little guy along the road immediately after leaving the former owners house:

Unfortunately I could not keep him and had to give him to the animal shelter....hope he goes to a good home....I was considering naming him "Regal". :tongue:

So now the fun begins....and I'm not even sure what the first performance part I want to buy will be....but I'm sort of thinking of replacing those stock stamped c channel style rear upper/lower control arms with some boxed ones. Then I'm guessing next will be a scan master.

Im glad you found that puppy and my girlfriend didnt. I would of had a new dog in the house for Turbo to play with Nice car . That truck would have been a nice turbo conversion:biggrin: good luck with new ride

Actually I had considered supercharging the truck (it was a 4.3 Vortec) but just to have gotten into doing that would've costed me well in excess of $5k....not really worth it...the other option was to V8 it....would've been cheaper and made more power.

Or if I struck it good found a turboed 4.3 from a Syclone or Typhoon.

My new shop dog Regal!

This 1 showed up last night. I already put a deposit down on a white German shepherd so this one will be shop Beech if not claimed.
I'll be putting up some pics around the local stores here to see who she belongs to. The kids named her Regal last night

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but i believe that is a non-turbo MAF sensor. The plug should come up at a right angle. Get that changed.

That is a GM replacement MAF.
BTW SHE doesn't have Balls Good Dog but I know how it is to have 1 lost or stolen. Posting pics locally around here today.

I've never been to the Piedmont drag....not even sure where it's at.

I've only been to Rockingham drag way once and Fayetteville drag way a few times.

You have a correct GM replacement MAF. The original MAF's The wires pointed down instead of out.
