Hey, I am just wondering....how do I get my stock turbo on my 87 to "whine" louder? I love the sound of that turbo spooling, but I'd like it to be louder than stock. Oh, and how do I quiet my wastegate? I know it's louder because of my K&N, but I am really getting annoyed by it. I want MORE turbo whine and LESS wastegate flutter....how do I achieve this?

Two Words: BIG MOUTH.
Yes, it also makes a serious "whoosh" sucking all that air, but you can also hear the turbo whine. Mine will whine even before boost registers on the gauge. And on the highway, even at less than 1/4 throttle, when I let off the gas slowly, you can hear it 'spool down'. People stare!
