idleing probs

I just finished building my first buick and the car idles with the set screw on th tb adjusted in all the way. But the idle doesn't stay the same and it dies some times, ( especially after I give it some gas under a load and let off fast it will die) I have set my tps already . By the way I have a set of champ alum heads, 218 cam 55 lb injectors etc

If your set screw on the TB is turned in all the way, I'm assuming that you mean that the throttle plate is completely closed. That would explain why your car dies when you give it gas, and then let off.

PS: The second method utilizing the scan tool is much better. If you don't have a scan tool, get one.
