just incase anyone has an interest in 94-96 impalas. we just got back from our national meet in indy. combination motorsports, an outfit from vegas, just put down a 9.67 @ 128 run, the first ever at a national event for us. the car is a ati blower car putting out 28-30psi. i'll try to get some pics and a vid. they had traction problems on every run and the 9 second run wasn't full throttle all the way. the track couldn't hold the power.

Wow, that's a significant run for a big Impy! Video would be nice too!

DANG! And at 128? Did you let out?

Track did not hold any power? I'm shocked.
Slickest "world class" track I've ever been on in my life.

i didn't let out  they peddled the car all the way after the 100ft mark. my only guess is they didn't "prep" the track like they said they would.

That's great! Love the color too.

I see combination is doing bigger things now...I remember years ago when they were just starting out....Remember when they broke 9's in the impy....Im guessing that time is just gonnna keep dropping....Congrats to them

alot of us there at the track felt they had a low 9 high 8 sec. capable car. if they can get all of the power to stick to the track, they should be flying.

shoot! that barge must be making 1,000 hp to go that fast...unless its gutted.

it's not gutted, it's a full interior car....and i do believe they are making about 1000 hp.....don't have the exact number.

I wonder if he ever got it caged? He and I both got kicked out here in Vegas the same day for running nines on 6 pt. bar only.

GN Fan,

What's done to your SS? I like those dyno numbers.

thanks

LT4 conversion and pretty much every bolt-on out there. 3" exhaust with x-pipe, long tubes, and no cats. 2800 Vigi stall and 3.73 gears. complete suspension revamp with hotchkis and bilstein shocks. PCM for Less tuning and a couple other goodies that just look pretty ;)

i don't know how much your into your SS but we're always on the lookout for new members. here's a few websites:

I'm somewhat deep into my SS, but into my GN alot more. I'm registered on the ImpalaSSforum as SS4Life. Only had it for a
little less than a year. Got Hocthkis springs, Dynomax, Corvette dress, CAI, sounds, 18's and tuning by PCM4less. I enjoy it alot, don't think I'm going to touch the motor for a while, 28k miles. Thanks, for the other site and I'll look you up if I have any questions. :)

cool...i'm sure i've seen you over there. my GN is pretty stock with only a few bolt-ons, but i hope to change that in the next year or so. it seems to be relatively inexpensive to get these things running 11's, so that's my plan. the SS is pretty much done unless something bad happens
