What the hell is with all those spammers that violate the law by cold calling phone numbers on the National Do Not Call List, and then lie and misrepresent themselves to try to con people into thinking they already have a business relationship with them.

They hide behind fake phone numbers and will not provide any information about who they are or how to contact them.

I've gotten those even on my cell phone.

Are you talking about Anne from the warranty company? I get that call at least five times per week, every week. Once I pushed the button to talk to them, then when they came on I told them it must be my lucky day because my 76 AMC pacer has been running really poorly lately & extending the warranty sounds like just what I need. They said they would take me off the list, but guess what? they still call 5 times a week.

LOL, I thought I was the only one!!!:D They call me on the cell and I've tried to talk to them twice now.:D Once on my 47 Plymouth and again on F-250, 1976!:D

i dont answer unless the number is on my phone list now. i had been getting a lot of phone calls from 800-877-and such...

I feel like pretending to go with it but telling them I only have cash so send me the info and a bill - at least that way I can find out who is messing with us.

It seems like they will hang up fast if they can tell that you are on to them.

I've filed four complaints with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) about them. On the last call, I talked to Alex. Told him thanks for your name and I would be filing my forth complaint with the FTC with him being mentioned. Haven't got anymore calls, but it has only been a week.

They are jerks with you when you tell them about the FTC, and resort to vulgar language.

I have not been able to track down a good callback number for them. Research on the web indicates this is not a warranty company, but some scammers who are trying to get your credit card information.
