Installing 200-4R wake up kit

Has anyone installed the intermediate billet servo & mega valve before? It says it is suppose to firm up the 1-2 & 2-3 shift. The previous owner told me that he installed a shift kit, but I found the TV cable pulled all the way out. Anyway, I'm sure I know where the servo is, but I'm not sure about the mega boost valve. Should I also install a shift kit?
