It's hard to believe any auto parts store wouldn't have #2. Try Auto Zone or Advance Auto.

I ve been to six auto stores- none have the #2 permatex and none have the #567 locktite. Anyone ever use the aviation form a gasket-part #3h, pressure resistant and leakproof for gas, grease, anti-freeze, oils, glycerine, butane, fuel oil , kerosene-used on aviation and auto parts and threaded screws? Its black in color-goes on as a liquid and turns into a paste.
