intercooler swap 4 less lag?

Motor was done by Nick Micales guys so i would think the cam was degreed, Never thought of the gate hanging up...

If the cam was off by a tooth and retarded the cranking compression would suck.

Block it off and do some quick spirited driving, keep an eye on the boost gauge so it doesnt wrap around to "T" in the letters BOOST :wink:

thats exactly what i was planning to do, i still have a couple block off plates laying around.

heres a couple pics installed , had to cut the up pipe and use a coupler to get an extra 1.5" for the high volume plenum , waiting on a 2-3" reducer to finish the job

Quick update for you guys following..... Looking over the final install , i noticed my EGR block off leaking. I used a thin layer of black RTV and no gasket previously. I used a healthy bead this time and let cure over night. Figured i would check the plugs while i was under the hood. Cylinder 2 plug was finger tight... All others looked good. Temps in AZ are 115 today no test run scheduled
