Spoke with a builder and he stated that the GN servo is plenty if using the wide band.
Only reason they used the super sevo back in the day was due to the fact that the wide band was not out yet and they needed the extra clamping force with the smaller band.

Opinions???

I used to think that a super servo or something similar was needed on anything in the low 12s or better, but after building quite a few I have had success with just using the alto wide band with a nice shift kit and a 694 servo down into the low 11s. The only cars I do this for is for customers that don't want a really hard shift at part throttle etc....I used a stock servo on my dads GN and the shifts are very quick but are not neck snapping like I like them to be. But he wanted something more docile and so far its lived (traps 123-124)

CK's servo is much better than the super servo. Ive used both. You shouldnt omit the cushion spring.
