It let the factory smoke out taday

My 12 year old 240 Sherwood died today
Do I get it fixed or do I replace it?
What are good brands of amps?
I need to feed ONE 10" tube I need bolt loosening, deep feel it in your chest bass.
HELP

I got lucky
I took the amp apart to find that the fuse melted in place (I guess the fuse holder was loose)
Anyway I was able to clean it up and remove the other half of the fuse. Then I tightened the connection up and stuffed in a new fuse and turned up the base and its working again.

I bought a amp at one of those trade shows for I think around $125 a couple of years ago . The thing puts out more bass then I need out of 1 12" Infinity sub :biggrin:. I would upgrade, but if it still works, it still works. I also noticed a big differance in headunits when I got my new one, the watts were basically the same but the new one was a hell of a lot clearer, plus I can hook the Ipod up to it
