I heard that John Lingenfelter finally lost his battle from injuries received after a crash in late 2002. The automotive world has lost another legend. God Speed John...

It is such a shame such a big loss of so good of a person. I can only wish that his family comfort and that he is now in a better place.

Very bad wreck. He was almost fully recovered from it, then slipped into a coma.

OMG. This man was such an inspiration to me back in high school. He was the main reason I got hooked on racing. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with his family.
