John Martin scumbag - probably not his real name! Vendors and sellers beware!

Update to this old thread

Phone rings tonite and caller ID says US Government.:eek: WTF is this about? Apparently the dirtbag in this thread that burned me and some other non Buick vendors has been arrested and they want me to send all info about what happened to them.

Apparently there is an internet task squad that has been investigating this guy and pals. Guess they were quite active ripping people off. Was totally taken by surprise on this and maybe justice will finally be served. Not going to get my $$$ back but them doing jail time would be good enough for me.
 
Well atleast some progress is being made but I think that if someone is caught ripping people off not only should they do jail time but they should be forced to repay whatever the amount of money is to whatever people were ripped off. Since they know who it is now if they can prove he bought these parts from you using a stolen credit card is there any way you can file a lawsuit against him for money owed.
 
I sent an email over to elite engineering since I didn't see an update on his thread so incase he wasn't contacted he'll know who to get in touch with to hopefully add how he was scammed, onto the charges against this so called "John Martin." I didn't see who the VW company was but maybe you can let him know as well as to whats going on.

Yeah, that is the first thing I did after hearing. Got to go through old emails to find the VW company. The guy who called me appeared to be legit with the US Government showing on caller ID and email address of seattle.gov.
 
wish I would have been around this forum then. I live 2 miles from the address. I woulda went over there and hooked his **** and stored it for ya......... Tow trucks are a wonderful tool in getting paid............ Glad they got the little piece of ****....

With all the addys listed, there's NO WAY 1 person collected all the shipments...Unless he had help @ the UPS depot, and they grabbed the stuff B4 it was ever delivered............Glad they got him! He'll get AT LEAST 30 days, a slap, and be admonished to never do it again...Ya, right!

He just happens to be a SCUMBAG who has good taste in cars.

Ya but you can't guarantee the stuff you buy is all going to be shipped UPS. Mark said he sent his stuff USPS so the guy probably just found vacant addresses and with the tracking information was able to see when the stuff was expected to arrive and would just pick it up when it was dropped off.

Didn't really work out as it is doubtful I will ever see my money back but it is good to see they actually did work on the case. Obviously "he" has been at this a long time.

The address I shipped to was NOT vacant as the police told me the people that answered the door during the initial investigation did not know "John Martin".

Just sort of strange that BOTH packages I sent to him disappeared off the USPS tracking system. Never a delivery confirmation on either package. Thinking he probably did have connections with the post office.
 
No way i thought you was getting your money back bud wow what a hole scumbag mf/er i Have to say the items i bought from you are great these item make the engine compartment look bad azz thank you.
