Hey guys, i been pressuring one of my folks to let go of his buick that he is doing nothing with. The car has decent parts but runs like shit. I have a extra motor that i wanna do the top end on. What's the best gasket to use with stock heads? Just doing a top end rebuild really

You will get a few answers requesting the best, I put Victor-Reinz on my motor and they have held up just fine. I have been beating on that car for about 9 years. I would keep beating on it for 9 more but I think the #3 lobe has gone a little flat or the lifter concaved on me. RJC and Cometics are also great, maybe in the best category.

its like the gatorade lemon lime question.. is it green or yellow? lol same these. some will swear by cosmetics some roc and some stock style. i suggest stock style-victor reines- because it acts a fuse. if it knocks the head gasket will blow before you burn a piston down... again you'll get 100s of different answers.
