Congrates. I gratuated fron ATC about 4 years ago. Get into a busy dealership or good independant shop. There's money to be made but ya gotta be good, and ya gotta be fast. Start as a helper until you learn the ropes then try to go flat rate asap. Always test drive the cars and note every little pulsation or problem, I've been bit a couple of times because of brake pulsations....... make sure you tighten all the wheels too:eek::p. Good luck and remember that you don't know it all yet so don't be too cocky. Good luck on your career.

R u serious....Wow thanks.......

Heck yea I am serious! My daughter just graduated from high school and is going off to college. My son is already done with college and has his MBA. Graduation is someting to be proud of and deserves a pat on the back. Now the trick it to go out and do someting with your education worthwhile.

Also, make sure that you move your tool cart out from underneath the car when you lower the lift down. Seen this happen a few times in class lol. Pump your brakes before putting the car in reverse; seen a few cars back up right into toolboxes or people. Another thing is pay attention to the old timers; guys weren't always the smartest when it came to textbooks but they are the smartest/fastest when it comes to tool skill. I loved working with my old teacher in shop class, he retired the year I graduated. He cut a lot of corners(jobs were done right though) but he saved me a lot of time on certain jobs. One last thing, don't be cocky because you will be put in your place soon enough. This makes me miss automotive school lol.

I hear ya on the tool under the car thing sounds real easy to happen if ur not paying attention...I seen quite a few tool boxes tip over from having all the drawers open all you hear is a loud crash:eek: ... with all the different years and makes of cars cocky is the last thing I can be so much to learn other then what they taught in school... Thanks again for the nice replys and tips ...
