We were getting ready to put Joshua to bed.
5.6 roller for about 10 seconds.
We will keep the baby with us longer in case there are any aftershocks.

hope is everything is ok John.. your Buick brothers will be here if you need us

Is that what that was??? I thought it was the kids next door and their loud music......

Suddenly the cold and snow of Canada doesn't seem so bad.........;)

Hope you're all safe......

Thanks Phil, just a little shaken up.
I have been through much worse.
I was at the world series in 1989, with that
one I was afraid for my life for a couple seconds.
I was sitting in the nose bleed seats and
I could see and hear the concrete construction of
the stadium cracking.

No snow for us yet but it's cooling down. I think I like it better then the quakes you guys get.

Yep, was about ready to grab the .45 and my smokes, just in case it was the big one:rolleyes:

John anything fall over? I live on the coast and the house swayed but everything inside stayed up fine.

I will have to call one of my workers tommorow, She lives in Milpitas.

On with the night

Mark

Mark,

We did ok and nothing feel.
I live in the peninsula so we are farther from the epicenter than your friend.

I felt it pretty good at work in Sunnyvale.

But I think we get fewer earthquakes that are felt vs. the number of Tornado warnings in some places.

Wow, just seen this John! Glad to hear you and the family are okay. That must be some scary stuff to feel the ground shaking, think I'd rather deal with the hurricanes down here:eek:

I remember watching that. I was 13 at that time. Glad your ok. My brother lives in LA. Hes not to concerned about earthquakes though. Luckily most of CA is earthquake resistant. I wonder what would happen if NYC had a quake of 6.0 or more? It would be a mega disaster for sure since they are not prepared for that type of event.
