will this keep oil from getting into the tb from the pcv? I put a new AC pcv valve in recently. Is there another vendor that has it less than $20?

Mine was the same way causing a loss of pcv-controlled vacuum leak and oil vapors to be seen coming out of the valve cover filter at idle. Removed the check valve, reset the tps, and all was well.rob86gn said:No, I'm not all that worried about the explosiveness of the gases and I do understand the purpose of a PCV valve; that is why I am concerned about the fact that this "check valve" is pretty restricted.
I understand that I can only produce about 10 in. of vaccum by mouth but the thing is supposed to open at 4 in. and it doesn't. Is yours the same way or does it seem to open easier?
Not sure how restrictive mine is, I just installed it in line and them checked that vac was still being sucked thru on the hose where it connects to the PCV.rob86gn said:I understand that I can only produce about 10 in. of vaccum by mouth but the thing is supposed to open at 4 in. and it doesn't.
