Last run of the night and the track was going away so I used a soft launch here's the run and file. Stock long block, 93/meth, 60 degrees, through the exhaust, 255/16 MT. Car weighs about 3750 with me in it. The ISAC closed loop boost control was doing it's job, would get 4lbs creep with RJC controller. I added the IR solenoid for boost control.

See anything that can be tweaked?

My window settings got activated during the burnout so I don't have the ISL file for this run but I attached the log for an earlier run so you can see the ISAC in action.

I'd be curious to know just how far you can turn down the boost with that IR solenoid
 
With my setup, the wastegate hole is heavily ported and blended, I can unhook the wastegate arm and still make 1-2lbs of boost with the 6262. I have an 18lb spring so my base psi is 20lbs and will creep to 22lbs if I wind it out in 3rd. I limit my solenoid dc% to 45 and max to 85 which gives me a range of around 23 to 29 lbs. I use this range so the adj. knob is not too touchy and to give me room for the ISAC to deal with the creep. I suppose I could allow it to go to 0 dc% and get 20lbs (along with the creep), but that's no fun :D

Oh yeah, the quicksave 004 in my first post is a powerlogger file of the run.

Here is a screenshot for those playing along. The green line is the boost, the red is the target PSI. There is a dot on the boost gauge that shows the target also.

I have the IR solenoid plumbed into the factory Y.

Also, in the screenshot above, the black line is the the dc% for the solenoid. You can see it taper off during the run. Without the ISAC that black line would have been boost creep.

I just bought that solenoid for the Typhoon and the ISAC. Do you run an external. wastegate? Also, why is the lower port plugged?

He's running the solenoid as a "bleeder", on your typhoon you will run it as a 'blocker' which uses all 3 ports like the factory ty solenoid.

OK thanks. I am just not sure now which way to run this thing by the directions that came with it. I am assuming I set it up using the #1 directions.
 
what directions came with it? (where did you get it from?)

I got it from Grainger. Here is what the directions say:
3-way valves
1. Supply air pressure must be connected to "IN" supply port (as normally closed valve).

2. "OUT" port must be connected to device (single acting cylinder).

3. "EXH" port is exhaust



The unit has three ports, the are labeled 1, 2, 3. The directions label them as follows:
1. "IN"
2. "OUT"
3. "EXH"

They also have instructions for a 2 position 4-way valve. Not sure we use it that way though.
 
vent port #1 thru a sintered bronze muffler, the one in Vin7's pic is the kind to use. If the muffler is too restrictive, it will limit your max boost.

connect port 2 to the wastegate

connect port 3 to the turbo pressure fitting.
