Hey guys, finally the LC2 powered 2003 CTS made it to the track here are the details;

14 gal of 93 octane and 4 gal of 100 octane gas (full tank gas)

20 PSI boost

Stock Caddy rear end (3.73 posi)

Nitto drag radials

0 psi launch

Best time 11.62

Best MPH 120.92

This was just to see how the car would react at the track in basic street trim. More tuning, race gas and more boost to come. I think they only have the video of the car doing a burn out. The next time he will have a camera crew out there just to tape his car. People were going nuts over this car. His first kill on the street was a Ford Lighting, the CTS blew his doors right off. The driver of the truck told my buddy “Hmm, The new Caddy’s are pretty quick huh, I am very impressed”

WIKEDV6,

Bring that thing out to Mike's place in Orland and make some money street racing it! I want to see that car. Is he from our area?

That's cool! What are the specs on the motor?

I've been contemplating a Catera swap if I can find one cheap enough.

Combo is; 4.1 block w/ steel caps, slightly ported heads w/ big valves ported intake, custom FM, 45 turbo,3" exhaust, DFI, 55# inj, small after market cam, race gate, ATR headers, Full race 200r4 trans w/precision ind 3200 n/l convertor. Few other things like fuel pump and adj reg, bla, bla, bla,

Ya he is actually from Chicago. He has been known to do alot of hybrids. He used to have a old late '70 early '80s big pontiac wagon with a GN motor that used to do wheelies..... Knows his stuff about GNs.

Tommy get any magazines showing his car interest yet? That one magazine does the real street car shoot out every year. They test them for mpg, handling, comfort to drive, 1/4 mile time stuff like that. I bet if he sent them info on the car they would let him be one of the 10 cars entered. Turbo buick's and turbo buick powered cars have always done well in this competition.
Tell Tommy I think he needs to put alky or propane on that car. He will be able to run 10's on pump gas with it.

I heard that it was at Union Grove and got quite the surpirsed look from everyone.

Hey Jason what's up man? You know Tommy; he is just laid back and wait for people to approach him. I thought Roger was going to pass the info to the GM High tech guys and I don't know if they ever approached him. Which magazine are you talking about? I would like to see this thing featured in some magazine; it will be good for our Buick community. Even after 17yrs or so people still believe in how good these V6 turbos are, after all he took a 40K car did his conversion. It is just plain awesome to drive a mid 11 sec street Caddy with all options including AC & DVD/TV.

Yes, they were at the Grove last night, they had both the CTS and his previous conversion 86 RX7. They made a pass together and I belive the CTS went 11.62 @119mph and the RX7 ran 11.50's @ 116mph. Both powered by turbo Buick V6.

I assume you don't have any pics of this monster. What does this thing look like?? A rumbling monster with rims and such, is it a run-of-the-mill Caddy??

That would just be the ultimate sleeper! Oh.. how much does it weigh??

Prasad,

I sent Rick his phone number you gave me. He knows who owns the car. From there, I can't guarantee you anything. Jason, you are talking about Car Craft's Real Street Eliminator.

Oh SICK!!!

Sleeper color... tinted windows (nothing special).... chrome factory looking rims... now just tell me it's whisper quiet and you can balance nickels on it when idling... THE SLEEPER!!!

Man, that thing would fill the kill/fish board.. I love it!!

Good JOB !

Prasad, saw your Caddy @ the Nationals this year, very impressive ! Looks like you've got yourself a good money-maker there. Great sleeper.

Going Fast With Class, Hugh !

The car is not mine, it belongs to a good friend of mine, He doesn't post here , his name is Tom Oseicki and he has a shop here in Chicago called Alert Auto. Tommy has done around 12 Buick turbo V6 hybirds, from early 80's station wagons, plenty of RX7s,Olds,Pontiacs, 2003Caddy..

The times are impressive. Should get a lot of shocked looks going down the track. And people said they couldn't believe he did that with a new caddy. Why not? Seems to be working.
