You should scoot over to LS1Tech and do a search, lot's of good info. I have this combination in my Maverick. For most LS motors, you'll need a flywheel/flexplate, spacer, and longer bolts and you'll be short one bellhousing bolt on the LS block. Also, you'll need to grind some clearance in the trans case for the rear cover bolt heads and "oblong" the converter mount holes in the flexplate (if auto).
