first of all are the mechanical or electical gauges easier to put in (like water temp and oil pressure) and second i put in the lt1 and translator, its been getting colder and when i first start the car the car throws the code for a bad mass air, if i restart it after it gets a little warmed up it goes away????????????????? any ideas

what code does it throw? My guess is a bad ground on the back of the passenger side head, or a loose/worn connector pin in the vehicle's MAF plug.

The translators are not temperature sensitive.

I like mechanical Boost and Oil Pressure gauges.

Electrical water temp. is probably easier to do along with electrical oil temperature and tranny temp. gauges if you are thinking about those.

My translator has worked fine at -10* F.
