Mardi Gras tomorrow

Just letting the rest of the population of the U.S know that I dont have to work tomorrow because we are celebrating Mardi Gras down here in LAfayette. EVERYTHING is shut down for this. Schools, banks, stores, etc......

Jut wanted to rub that in......


In case you dont know what it is: You go watch parades and drink till you throw up. But I am to old for that now so I just enjoy the free day.

As a joke, I asked one of our "techs" at Toyota "when is Fat Tuesday?" and another answered "Feb. 26th". All but those 2 laughed. And of these two guys, I once asked: "If a 250lb man can dig a 3'x3'x2' hole in 20 minutes with a shovel with a 5' handle and a 12" spade, how long would it take him to dig half a hole?" and he answered "10 minutes". I then had to ask him "How do you dig Half a Hole???"

Cmon Taylor, you know its the Catholics down here that party the most for Mardi Gras. Your in Baptist country.
