That's wild because I looked at the ad and that cabinet seems to use the same crappy gun as the HF cabinet I started with.

I started using these cabinets in 1986. All are/were equipped with the TP gun, and foot control. I use only the carbide consumables. No issues.
I use commercial grade media, suited to the items I'm doing. I don't use glass.
When the gloves no longer go strait out, at switch on, I clean the dust collection tank.
When the media cutting becomes slow/dusty, I change it.
My only "mod" was to install a second light.
