He sure was. Like so many of the TR vendors I've worked with, Eric had such a passion for helping us owners. And he had a mischievous side too.
I'd invited him to make a few hits at a closed GMHTP track day, and his Buick was running hard 9s. That was back when my Buick was running 12s, so I asked him if I could ride along. He looked at my boss and gave me a mischievous smile.
I got strapped in, he staged on the trans brake, then the launch flattened my helmet against the race seat. Holy crap 9s were fast!
When we got back to the tower, Campisano chewed my ass something awful. Eric just stood there laughing!
