I saw this aerosol liquid graphite product for exhaust manifolds from Superior Graphite Co. at...

SLIP Plate®

looks like it would do a nice job.

The highest temp rating for any of there products on the site is only rated for 400 degrees F no way it would hold up to exhaust applications.

Sparyed and on the car, photo's to come..

Hey guys, got the headers on yesterday, car should ron today if everything goes right, just finishing up on the intake manifold, the intake pipe from the maf and the wiring clkeanup on the drivers side....picked up the 70mil accufac Tb and RJC plate and upper plunum also, should be a nice upgrade from stock and no more neck down from my 3" upper pipe to the stock Tb, I really think this car is going to scream, some things I found while doing the intake gasket....
-T&D 1.65 rollers
-Roller cam
-Champion ported lower intake

-And some stripped out threads in the Champion heads for the intake:mad:

So my current thought is that the last owner attempted the factory spec of 45ft lbs. on the lower and there is no way in hell aluminam threads are gonna hold that, so what should I torque the lower intake to with the GN1 aluminam heads?????
