Modified backing plates - will this cause an issue

I am a GN owner but my question is on my TTA. I recently replaced the rear with a quickperformance Ford 9" rear. The housing ends are diffferent than the stock PBR setup. I redrilled the backing plate to match the new housing ends which rotated it slightly. I dry fitted everything and it seems like it'll work. Before I press the bearings on the axles with these plates, wanted to make sure I'm not missing something obvious. Will rotating the backing plates slightly cause any issues? It's all centered. I can't think of any but wanted to make sure.
