More Weber issues from my motor

You spent 12k on this motor from weber originally? Just wondering if I read that right? If so the motor would have went back as soon as I discovered the heads leaking. Not to mention for 12k the motor better support low 9 sec power, not just moderate street abuse.

Some guys can blow that motor up in one pass or "playin" on the street if it isn't tuned right. Low 9 sec car is goin to need more than just a motor

Somthings not right. I bought all my parts from them and they built the long block to support high 9's. Only thing i didnt get was a girdle and i sent them my Champion heads and my price was no where near that.

I may have exaggerated on low 9sec power because that is dam fast for any street car and it's a lot of stress on any motor at that level. I know there is a lot more involved than just a motor to run into the 9's as I'm fighting my combo every step of the way to reach that goal. I guess I made that statement based on what I paid to have my ford v6 built and was in no way intended disrespect to anyone.

my championheads alone with T&D's are close to 1/2 his build ... but they aren't outthe box heads

I bought another motor for cheaper than his and it has all the goodies

Some of the accusations here are hard to swallow but I'm sure all can agree, it's not hard to spend money on this stuff.
