The downpipe is from Gbody parts. The up pipe is part of a complete set you can purchase on EBay. I tried having a local shop build an up pipe but after 7 try’s he gave up. The set from EBay works, but I had to do some extensive modification to get it to fit properly. Hope this helps.

What does a solid bottom end cost on average ? I’m ready to do it but need someone local I’m from Ontario ca need an average cost for bottom end build
It will cost about $6000 to build a forged rotating assembly. Forged crank, forged rods, forged pistons, front cover, double roller timing set, deep sump pan.
I would use a roller cam, ported iron heads. You can have Champion port the stock intake that will help. On the hot air intakes they cut it in half to get to all the ports and do it right.

I am working on one now. Hit me up if you’re interested.

You have my interest what exactly are u working on right now? And champion is willing to do this work ? I have an extra intake I can send out

I’m working on a bunch of stuff. Give me a call we can talk it’s easier.

Hopefully you can bring your hot air build to life. I’m running a Stage 1 turbo from Work turbochargers, ported intake and heads, 3” exhaust from GN1. Electric fans plus oil cooler , with a high flow water pump through a 4 pass radiator. Definitely brought the car to life.View attachment 398916
Have you had any issues with. The up pipe being bolted up as one ? I ask because I’m about to weld mine up the same way

Hi, do you mean welding it where they join up as a slip fitting? i have not had any issues with mine. Its definitely alot easier to work into position when its in 2 pieces. i think you may have sealing issues when you try and bolt it up to the turbo, i would just use the band that comes with the pipe. Hope this helps.

Ok, gotcha now. i have not had any issues on the up pipe, other than bending it with some heat and a long bar when i was trying to get everything lined up on initial install. i can't see any issue welding it at the joint, but you are going to lose ease of mating it to the turbo. Just my 2 cents.
