I am pissed too...

If he admitted it, thats a man. If he doesn't make right he is GONE!!!. It might not help your particular situation, but WE WILL MAKE IT KNOWN , HE IS A FRAUD!!!. So whoever this Mike is, he had better come clean and soon!!!!!
I want to be informed on this. All three mods are pissed here. Sorry cheeseburger, I know it can be frustrating...

Keep us informed. All three of us. ( Nick, Jesse and I) Trust me, we got your back and are watching very closely......

He called yesterday at 5:49 pm (e.s.t.) and said he saw the pictures i emailed him and agreed the motor is nothing close to the pictures he sent before.
Said he is going to get in touch with the person he got the motor from and call me back that evening.

That was well over 24 hours ago, and no phone call or response to my email.
I emailed him my bank acct info so he could send money directly in my u.s. account.(no responce). - At least a deposit as an act of good faith.
I think this is just more of his stalling tactics and b.s.

It seems that he thinks i should wait for him to get ''his money'' (MY MONEY) back from the mystery person before refunding me, Ya right!

What kind of person buys a motor without looking at it and then sells it to someone else?

Next stage is under way, i gave him 3 days to make an effort to refund my money and nothing happened.

Bad Boys, Bad Boys what your gonna do?
What you going to do when they come for you?

Cheeseburger, I have a 32" Easton that I will sell you!!! Hell I'll send it to you for free:eek:

BTW, in case you don't know what a Easton is it's baseball bat.... You can knock on his door and when he answers it you can hit a home run:D

I know I know violence is not the answer, but it sure would make you feel better! Anyways I seriously hope you can get your money back and in all honesty I hope the guy that screwed you ends up in prison where he can meet Big Bubba!!!

Oh man, I hope your not serious. That or a SS# is like giving a criminal the keys to your home. The engine deal maybe the least of you problems, now. There is nothing secure about internet sales, a clever criminal can beat about anyone. All you hear about is the major cases that get solved on the news, no one wants to admit what really goes on over the net with forgery.

FWIW, even if it's a dummy/drop account, I'd close it when the bank opens in the am.

The state is CA.
The account is at -$1.00 and my bank told me nobody can take money out........only put money in.

Let the ass whoopin' begin

I'm here in CA. If I can help you out let me know.

Dont let the Modderators hear that,,,they canceled my "Out Reach Program"  Need an A$$ wooppin in Chicago reach out to us....:D :D
Steal from a GN owner ----off comes the hand:rolleyes:

Scam artists suck

These kind of rip offs just piss me off. I still have a jack a$$ that owes me a turbo from an Ebay deal about 10 months ago. I'm pretty sure I'll never see it or any kind of refund. The Buick community is pretty small so you hate to hear about this stuff happening.

Neal is in The South

I am in the North. We got your back buddy. Just keep us informed. If they are in the middle, I might just get to meet Neal and buy him a meal. :D

Update...........On july 23, Mike Klugman emailed me and said "i will get you some money, i get paid on the 5th sorry but i wont be able to do anything till then".

I guess $2700.00 goes real fast these days.

I don't want to come out and say his screenname, but he was a "Mustang Guy" right? I wonder if he's been around here lately....

Takes me back to the high school days when we used to yell at other cars "MUSTANGS ARE FOR WOMEN!!"

Wish I was in CA to help you out!

On another board I frequent a dishonest member sold/screwed some guys. They posted about it and come to find out he lived 30 min. from me. First visit was friendly and netted nothing other than some lip and getting the door slammed in my face (which took some balls considering I'm a very solid 235 lb. and the little chit was maybe 145 lb.). Oh well I tried. Then a strange thing happened, the next night he came home and got the living chit beat out of him by some unknown person (:D ). Well, the POS ended up in intensive care and had his face reconstructed. I put the buyers in touch with the local authorities as well as the state attorney general. They quickly linked the items he was peddling to some local robberies. After two weeks he was released form the hospital and came home only to get arrested a few weeks later for his antics. He is now doing 12 months and will never "look" the same.

I guess what I'm getting at is people look after others in the community... and the Internet has made the community big enough that there really isn't anywhere for these scum bags to hide. If this azz-clown that screwed you is smart he’ll make this right ASAP before something bad happens. ;)

Wow, your internet tough guy stories are impressive! I think I want to be like you. Is there ever to be a thread that doesn't involve these Barney-Badazz guys? Nobody's impressed. If we're dealing with petty scam artists, they need to be dealt with accordingly.....in a mature and concise manner. We hardly need people threatening to go to eachother's houses and beat people up. P.S. I'm bigger than you.
