Wanna talk about nuts.....
YouTube - STI AVT

I think this guy could run around both of those with a little work. The sheer engineering in this thing is nuts. I love it. I'll take two! :D

*Just FYI, keep watching, they take it everywhere, down the highway, around in a field..its not just 9 minutes of them going up and down that hill....

Dude, when the heck did you get this???? I never knew you were a quad guy!

damn, I thought the Quad i had was bad@$$. Those quads are unreal, that STI AVT has gotta be a blast! But if you flipped it your like sooo FCKT!

Well, my Honda Rancher was in the shed last time you were over and I since stepped up to 25hp yamaha and now this 110+hp yammy;) MO POWA!!!!!

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To bad i sold my 250R, we could have went and tore up some street cars with our quads! I dynoed at 63 RWHP on that thing. I miss it, the guy that bought it was a freakin dip sh%t so it's probably wrapped around a telephone pole right now! What Yamaha is that, Raptor? Cant be stock?

I think my yzf 450 would bust your ass,a really fast ATV would be blowin the tires off on concrete w/o slicks....Pretty bad ass though!

I agree. And that thing is so impractical. The Hyabusa is fast, but in a straight line only. Again impractical. Cool non the less. BTW, still got the quadzilla? That fugger is nice!

Yamaha/Honda hybrid. Barely a warrior frame and a new Honda CBR600RR motor shoehorned in there. 120mph in a snap.....You know my roads;)

Well, my tires swell to the point of sucking off the rims at 15,000 RPM if that gives you a clue.

Nope, that was a few years ago. I had a 250 Quadracer when I was 13 and then a 500 quadracer when I was 14. I got the bug back and found the last one on ebay. It was perfect. The guy who owned it before me sunk tons of money in it. The best of everything. I think he said it dynoed at 90 horse.
He built it for himself and he said he weighed 270 lbs, I only weigh 170, so that thing was scary! It would pull the front end up in 4th gear on a downhill roll. I decided to forgo the emergency room and get back into the TTA.
If I had to do over, I would of bought a new stock banshee. More docile and the quad had to run 110 race gas which kind of sucked and you also couldn't ride it in my area, it was more suited for WIDE open spaces.

Triple rated Elka shocks up front and Total custom rear swing arm to handle the extra 80hp with a stiffer rear spring. A arms I cant remember, but they are 4'' strech. ITP wheels and tires. Also the extended axle with K&K brakes ....Why all the q's ? It was professionally built from black swamp choppers. It is a prototype.

Thanks...Ya, the Elkas are not cheap either. this set was over $700. You really have to have the suspension work for you on something like this. On launch, the travel of the shocks work really well keeping the front down and maintaining a 3'' wheelie throught the gears. But that is of course rolling into the throttle. I cant just jab it.... It is untameable that way. I am going to get a Power Programmer for it and tune the tables with my laptop, so I can make damn sure everything is running optimal. Should be able to squeeze a few more horseies out of her:eek:

The reason I'm asking so many questions on the suspension is becuase I have a lot of awesome resources and vendors for quads. I may be able to find you an extended swingarm which will definately help keep the nose down. I needed one on my 250r otherwise it was just a wheelie machine. The only problem is that the Warrior chassis may have some limitations on aftermarket parts. BUUUUUTTTT, I know you are great at fabrications and may be able to make a simple copy! 2" extended swingarm would do you wonders!! That quad would make a killer flat tracker!! Cool toy man!

The swing arm is +4" already. Chromemolly custom ladder bar set up. The first two swing arms broke in half!!!!:D

DAMN! I suppose thats a whole lot of torque to handle! I'm suprised the chains are holding up!
