well Lee the test pipe is pinned up against the floor board i was wondering if i was to hammer a wedge in between the floor board and the test pipe to get the exhaust bolted up if it would cause and major problems or if the high heat would cause it to bend a little that way so that there wouldnt be so much pull on the rest of the DP...? clear as mud? :p

test pipe

Well, No, the heat will not bend it!!! There are slots cut across the flanges and gaskets for line up purposes. Are these in line? If so maybe you can take the first piece off, ( the one that bolts to the turbo) and drill the 4 holes out to the next size, allowing the whole system to swing down. I have an e-mail address.
Does the rest of the system fit ok? If so, then I would say rotate the test pipe 90 or 180 degrees.

yes everything is lined up right
im not sure where the problem is i was thinking maybe the new motor mounts raise the motor alot but im not for sure i have a ton of clearence wetween the down pipe and a-arm though, i cut a good inch or maybe more off the heater core box.. and the 2 part of the dp is against the firewall where the 3rd piece bolts up right above a bolt that was sticking out and i had to cut that off to get the 3rd part on then to get the 3rd part on i had to cut the heat shield on the floor board. i was able to get the test pipe on though i would have to cut the crossmember for the exhaust to go on and then it would probably be pinned up against the bottom of the car. if i had like 4 or 5 more of the copper gaskets for between the 2nd and 3rd part it should work ;) but i will try drilling the holes out larger, im worried about the one that is close to the weld though... and ive already had the top to sections jet hot coated
