For those that don't know, I own 2 Buicks. 1 85 regal limited & 1 84 t-type. My regal is getting a frame off resto & conversion to hot air turbo engine. My t-type is not going the full resto but right now it seems it's gonna come really damn close. Buicks are my crack & I love working on cars but unfortunately I'm not a rich man so Iale do with what I have. I'm gonna post pics for all to check out.

Looks very nice! Interesting to see a build in progress. You're not afraid to get right into it and get your hands dirty!

Thanks! Yeah, I like seeing builds too! I pay close attention to detail. This build is only supposed to be a partial resto but I feel like I have to go a little deeper into the build. Things keep coming up because I don't like to half a$$ things.

Looking good! All the red under the front reminds me of my GN frame off....and so does the "1 man hydroboost bench bleed!!" Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming!

Thanks! Will do more pix as they're available. Question for you guys, how did u solve the heat problem from turbo to hood. I'm worried that the heat in the area where turbo is at will screw up the paint.

x2 I would like to know the same thing. Whats the best way to cut down heat from the turbo? Without coating the turbo housing, I'm pretty sure we're screwed. I bought a cover/jacket for my turbo to save my mint condition nos hoodliner. But the wires and stitching rubbed a spot into the liner material  Guess I should have had the factory heat shield installed, but I haven't had it for many years

Been working on the headlight buckets, headlight bezels & window trim this week.

Take a piece of aluminum sheet and cut it to go over the turbo. It screws to the back of the hood.;) I don't have the dimensions but it's been posted before on how to do it. It's got to be fairly thick to hold up to opening and closing the hood but it looks ok.

Se ve chingon brother! If your going to mod the speed daddy headers to fit this car I would suggest mocking and modifying them on the other engine you have from the other car since its out so you dont mess up that nice paint. Its coming along real nice.

Thanks & You're right I gotta get to that too. I called around today to see if I could find a local shop to do ceramic coating.

Louis did the body shop repair that header panel or did you get another. I need to find one for my car soon.
