When I got my 87 it had a stock NA 3.8 exhaust on it. The 2 1/4 inch single output system. It really messed up the performance and I was disappointed with it right off the bat but knew I could change it.
With the crappy exhaust on it, the car would boost to MAYBE 10lbs and feel like a newer genII 3800 NA.
With the new 3 inch dual setup on there I am boosting upwards of 15lbs and the car has its kick back.
I am loving this thing now. I am putting a new fuel pump in it tomorrow so it will be getting full fuel pressure and breathing nicely. I cant wait.
