Need help with Kirban steering column lock...

Long story short I finally got ambition to get Old Reliable going again. After a year and half of sitting the keys are missing now. It has a red Kirban steering column lock on it. Does anyone know how to get one of these off with out completely destroying it?

A pic might helpso we know which one you're talking about. Is it a permanant thing or do you take it on and off?

Sometimes the locks are serialized and might be able to get a new key from manufacture.

I got a PM about a idea to try to get it off(Thnaks Stefan!!!) . Hopefully I will try this weekend. If not it's grinder time!!! Well maybe not. I have another brainstorm.

I wonder if those those keys are all the same on the column locks. I have one of those red column locks on my car, I might have a spare key laying around somewhere.
