I hear your still driving the GN......I put mine away about a month ago
THE GNX CLONE IS THE ONLY CAR I STILL HAVE OUT I PUT FIVE THOUSAND MILE'S ON HER SO FAR .. ALL OTHER'S ARE PUT AWAY OR BROKE . IM HARD ON PARTS . I NEED A STEERING COLUME FOR MY TURBO-T .

This is the same one I bought, same guy too. My up-pipe kept blowing off which destroyed my liner so I bought this one but I only paid $700 for mine several months ago. It's a lot of $$ but it's worth it to some people so someone will pay for it. I'm glad I did.

I don't believe it's a scam. These are NOS parts that he bought at an auction many years ago from a dealer that went out of business.
Even if it was, the printing has the exact texture and feel etc as mine did so I'm happy with it.

Nice! I wanted to do the same thing but I couldn't get a good pattern to use. I'm still thinking about making one out of my new one before I put it on just in case this one gets destroyed.

GM DIRECT HAS THE LOWEST PRICE ONLINE $135.00 PLUS SHIPPING
Add another $135 for shipping. Not such a great deal. I bought mine from a local Buick dealer. I took it out of the box and it fit in the trunk. Shipping was free. I would sure like to get one silkscreened like the original. Maybe someone in the Chicago area can recommend a place to do it.

Actually it's $30 shipping. Comes out to about $165 total

I checked it earlier today and it was $135. Might depend on location but $30 is pretty cheap to ship anything that big, even around the corner.

WOW, the OEM hood pad is 900 bucks now? I bought mine about 8 years ago from Classic Chevy for 99 bucks. OEM brand new still in the box.

Hell of a deal Mikey. Throw that in the parts for sale and they'll be fighting over it. Here's mine that a fellow (John) in FL. use to make. Cost me $150 back then (several years ago) and ONLY $28 to get it shipped from Fl. to WA. I had it made to match my engine.

someone was paying attention and just called to buy it. It was a good deal for a brand new part in a gm box. By the way ones with the factory silk screen will have a piece of paper taped over the logo for shipping, a little FYI
Mike

Yeah, I remember that and most the time when you took that damn tape off it left alittle residue on the pad. GOOD deal for that guy.
Merry Christmas Mike, Mike
