Purchased a complete engine with built internals and all the goodies. The turbo on it was what I thought was a TE-44 but there is no name markings on it. The seller who I trust told me it was purchased from a turbo buick vendor about 3 years ago and only has about 4,000KM on it. The turbo has ZERO shaft play and is excellent shape. It came with a internal gate with the external gate option on the turbine and has a .63a/r exhaust and the only # I can find is on the compressor housing (#671381). I did a google search with no luck but a bunch of BS. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!
thanks

If you look at this thread, look toward the bottom right. Says "POST REPLY / UPLOAD A FILE / MORE OPTIONS". Click "UPLOAD A FILE", find the file on your 'puter, and upload it. If it doesn't work def send it to me and I will post it.

take off the compressor housing and post the diameter of the large and small sections of the compressor wheel. Post a pic of the turbine also. It may be hard to remove the ex housing but i can probably id it wiht a pic. Anything else without pics or measurements is guessing

compressor is a .50 a/r in the snout (outlet) of the compressor. I will do the ind. and exd. of both compressor and turbine tomorrow as I will have to heat the turbine bolts . CHRA looks to be a Garrett section but I can not make out the casting marks (rust/heat)

no TE-44...:) can someone upload these pics. I can not downsize them or get my program up to downsize!

took off the compressor...looks like 56-57mm ind. and 76-77mm exd....i'll work on the turbine side tomorrow or Saturday. Thanks for all the input gang!

Anyone help me with the above numbers and post some pics ? Also, I'm not going to chance taking off the turbine as the bolts will likely snap in the housing.
