Need useful procedure for collecting scanmaster 2.1 data

Just installed my 1st scanmaster in an 86 GN. HAve been reading about advantages, but not on the best process to collect the data.
Some report their data on an idling car, others that are under power.

Do I collect data:

Idling
Under WOT (and if so, for any particular distance, speed, or rpm)
Cruising

Also just bought a turbo tweak hot wire kit. Should I wait till I've installed it b/4 going WOT? Car mods (came with car) are:
42# inj
3" down
2.5" duals no cat
larger Garrett turbo (rough measurement of 55mm turbine)
cold air kit
everything else stock

Have replaced:
fuel filter (felt that!)
IAC
EGR
vacuum lines

plugs look clean and definitely a little wetter since new fuel filter
