So the upside to that block is more boost and it will stay together? Will it take a stroker kit for more cubes? I'm kinda hung up on building a 4.1 but this might be just as cool and more boost would add to that. I'll do some googling .

Every single person that I've talked too that raced these engines and or dyno'd . Block & crank are good til 1000hp. Rods & pistons just need an updating. They've done the stroker but had problem making the crank live after the mods. It's a great motor to mod.

Are the 3800 engines all the same or does the supercharged engine use stronger internals?

Supercharged have better rods and lower comp pistons.
