New flange looks like it too big.

The exhaust housing is an OE Garrett.
The flange is from a vendor here.
What do you guys think?
The black line is the inside of the flange
Which only leaves the flange about 1/16 inch on the housing

i think your turbo is too small
the ta66 with the larger wheel has less meat than what you have there

My dumb brain has me thinking that you can always take out material a lot easier than you can add.
I guess it would make too much sense to make a slightly smaller opening for a better seal.
And if you have a need for a larger opening you can always open it up to size.
