No worries! This thread is for informational purposes, keep the pics coming. That swap pan looks lower than the f-body one, I'll have to measure mine.

Yes it is very low, I just want to show the guys that John B mounts will fit truck pan, I use GM swap pan and it hang about an inch from the crossmember, I will take some pics of the GM swap pan soon.

just so i am clear....these are Johns Mounts and F body motor mounts,,what yr f body ?? thanks Dennis

How far back does the engine sit with that combination? Does it set back far enough to bolt to a stock TH200?

Yes John mount and 2000 F body mount , the motor sit 1 inch from firewall , I dont know about the 200 length since am putting the 4L80e that came with the motor

What cross member are you running for the 4l80? That was my plan as well, nothing like bolting in a transmission from a junkyard that has been known to withstand 1000rwhp... with overdrive!

Right now the tranny is resting on the stock GN crossmember that is pretty close to fit but need to Mod it a little to get it to fit in there.

Small updates, merge is built. This turbo system will likely get completed at the end of this month.

The down pipe is 4" aluminum. The car should be in the body shop around 5 weeks, then I can hopefully start posting finish assembly pics.

Any flex joints?

No flex joints yet. The fab guy does not think they are necessary, and said he will install them for free if the system cracks from all the street use. So initially it will run without flex joints and we'll add them if necessary. The car has solid mounts and the whole hot side is high quality stainless steel.

The system is almost done. Intercooler is a puny PT1000, but this thing won't make that much power anyhow.

Most of it is hidden when the front fascia is on:

From the top view, you can see that we still have room for a custom 27x22 radiator, up to 4" thick. I think a 3" thick core with a shrouded fan should work in traffic.
