Careful, I'm getting Ideas again...

Due to the generosity of a good friend... (via TB.com) I now have a running donor car with a complete drivetrain... (Motor, Trans, Rear)

Anyone know if anyone has successfully transplanted a T/R drivetrain into another G-Body? (other than that pair of el-caminos which were not built here...)

I think a quiet fast car appeals to me...

I liked that Regal wagon that was for sale 1-1/2 year ago in California...

Had GN front clip...

But.. for me, since I already have a really nice Monte SS with a broken rear end... What the heck...

Now the only thing is to aquire all the little parts to finish it...

I havent decided wether or not to use the GN dash or integrate the two harnesses (which really isnt that hard...) I need to review both manuals and see which wire goes where...

But for now, the Rear end will go in the car so I can drive her while I do all the other stuff...

And just think, it all started because I needed a rear end...

And Thanks, to the individual that sold me the donor car... (by now, I think you all know who it is...)

I will be parting the car out once I get the motor and trans and harness into my SS (might be a while...)
