AF 19

INT 128

IAC 26
CC 00
PU 2.0
SP 27.5
BST - 17
O2's never reached over .500

This was with that funny new LS whatever MAF that GM replaced the traditional aluminum mafs with. It needed like 2 different pig tail adapters before it could be plugged into my factory plug.
Don't have any numbers with the stock maf yet.
One question. Is the proper setting on the gen2 translator supposed to be for maf in AND out? Or just maf input.
What do I do. I can see I MAY have a vac leak, but then again I read that goofy MAF's can cause goofy blm's as well. Is that true?

One more question. Does your older LS1 aluminum maf plug directly into your car, or do you need an adapter harness? I needed an adapter harness for my adapter harness. I don't recal seeing that on other cars. I do understand that the manufacturers want to make one maf for many applications to save on production costs but that ideology has been in use for YEARS, and yet I've never seen a car need an adapter, nor an adapter for an adapter. Ever. If I need 34 adapters for this thing, then exactly which car does it supposed to plug into, without one?

The only thing I can comment on here is yes you do need 2 adapter harnesses to connect to your stock harness. But please don't ask why because I have no clue. I finally got my car running with the GEN II for about a week before I think my ECM gave out so trying to work on that now because my car wont start anymore. :(

Maf In should be set to what ever maf your running.

Maf Out should be set to the chip your running. If your using TT chip set this to stock style chip.

Did you mess with any other settings??

Rick

If I remember correctly the gen2 translator's maf out settings are options of different types of maf sensors, not chips.

No, the Maf In setting designates the type of maf.

Maf out is signal that is sent to the ECM. Set this to the kind of chip your running.

If you are using a TT chip, then the MAF OUT needs to be set to "GN Stock MAF" on the GEN 2.

Eric's right as usual. :)

I'm use to the extender pro chips. In this case the maf out matches the chip.

Looks like no O2 activity....Y/N??

It looks like you have your scanmaster connected to the powerlogger (since you have a boost reading). In that case, there is an airflow setting in the powerlogger software, depending on what chip you have. You may need to adjust that.
