I just brought mine out here from Houston last week. You probably saw me on the Blvd. Was this the car?

Ron,

I haven't been at the blvd lately. Nice car!! What are you doing tomorrow around 12? Maybe we can all meet and hang out for a bit!

All this talk of VaBch has me feeling nostalgic!! Spent 23 years in the Navy, and Retired from there. Spent my last 12 or so years living in Va Beach, various sea and shore commands in the area.
We lived in the Gardenwood park sub. just off Northhampton Blvd.
Got my 86 GN from Perry Buick over near Va Beach Blvd and Newtown Rd.

I know the feeling, everytime I go to Jersey or NY it bring ol' memories when I first joined. I have been 13 years in the area since 1995. All sea duty; currently I'm at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital and I'm already up for orders. BTW Perry Buick is still around hanging strong.

No plans for tomorrow. Went to the auto show today at the convention center and had a good time.

I'll PM you with my phone number. I will be sleeping in a bit though, as Saturday nights are typically beer pong nights at a buddies house. By sleeping in, I mean I'll probably be up and dressed by 11...

No Idea where everyone hangs out here I just got here...drove down to Brian's 74miles to drop off my rim to get fixed, I also am not busy tomorrow so where do you all want to meetup at tomorrow to introduce ourselves and talk cars...I like Hot wings myself, Lunch @ Hooters works for me just a thought post up any other ideas and maybe we can get together and shoot the breeze....lemme know........

Hooters works for me. I like wings AND breasts, so..... ;) Either there or Buffalo Wild Wings is the new wing joint in town. Supposed to be good too.

The weather kinda scares me tomorrow.... Scattered Afternoon showers according to Wavy... Then again, the forecasters out here suck soo......

Hey guys, after Hooters give me a shout 560-2782(cell) and y'all can swing by and see my GN's and T. I 've got too much buick stuff here today to go out!

Randy If I don't here from you I call you this afternoon.

Steve,

It's looking like next weekend will be a better time for me and gpadilla to come out. Plus the weather looks like poo from where I'm sitting. You have any plans for next weekend? I'd love to come by and see the cars and maybe get some grease under my nails....

---Ron

I have to agree, between the weather and being sick (not a good combo) today is not good at all. Let's try again for next weekend. Whatever works best for everybody.

SoYou guys may appreciate this story.

My wife and I were out for a drive Friday afternoon. We drove from Atlantic Ave. all the way down to General Boothe to where it ends up at Chesapeake (think it's called Mt. Pleasant by then). At the courthouses, a '90 or so Mustang turned in front of me off of Princess Anne. It was all black, lowered, wide tires, cowl hood, obnoxiously loud. License plate said "BLCKOUT". It's only one lane each way at this point, so we couldn't do much. He kept Reving it at every stop light though. I guess he thought I didn't notice him. We finally got to Centerville Tpk and Mt Pleasant. I was right behind him at the red light. It goes to two lanes right at that intersection. So when the light turned green, he jumped on it, as did I. I had him by 1/2 a carlength by the time we reached the other side of the intersection! We didn't run too far. Just to the next light... no need to really. He turned off into a neighborhood real quick after we ran. :D

He definately supported the stereotype of Mustangs.... Loud, obnoxious, and duds. I hate Mustangs...

Nice kill  Ron, don't you just love it when they think they are so bad then you spank'em....then they disappear right away...even better when their girl is in the car with them...was really nice hanging out at Steves this afternoon been awhile since I been able to talk with a fellow GN Owner locally....

Very nice meeting you Randy,I enjoyed your company! Next weekend I should be finishing my heads and tearing down the spare trans! Anybody is welcome either days!:D

I'm on Bonney Rd, between Independance and Rosemont. Right near Carmax.

I'm also in the Navy. Stationed on the TR, though currently TAD at COMNAVAIRLANT. Not quite at retirement yet. About 8 more years until then....

I was wondering where all the Buick guys were out here. I've only seen a couple on the road in the last couple years out here. What tracks do you guys go to out here?

Hey Ron, I'm off of Bonney Road too...Thalia Trace to be exact..

Hey Tracey! Wait till you see what I put on the low mile car today!

Anyone interested in going to NC on the 26th to meet with other Buick guys! Sat 26th 10-4. Look in the southeastern area section.:)

When ?
Where ?

OK,

The plan is to meet on Sunday at the Pep Boys at Lynhaven Rd, and from there go to Steve's house; unless you know how to get to Steve's house of course. Time: 12 noonish (that way Steve can get his beauty sleep  )
