Newbie with ?

Hi folks, new to the forum, looking at a 86/87 BRF200r4, seller says it still has the tag on it, anything else externally I need to look for, he says it needs rebuilding, I`m kind of on a time restraint here as I don`t want to let it get away if poss.... this is to go behind a 406 smblk in an early c-10. any replies are appreciated are welcome and appreciated...I`m all new to the 200r4`s...

I think thats pretty much it. Brf is what you need to see. I.have a good stock one for sale perfectly working should you decide you dont want to rebuild one

Servo cover has a unique # on it. I suggest looking in the tranny section.
Also if the pan is off it says br3 on the bottom.

I would probably buy a rebuilt tranny off a vendor on here. The biggest issue I have had with these cars are tranny issues. Every one of my regals here have had the trannys out of them some a few times. You've been warned.

Also your local guy who has been in business 100 years probably isn't a 200r4 expert.
