picked up a GM# 8639951 filter (stock 200-4R), looks like a nice improvement has been made on the tube seal (compared to last time I bought a filter, whenever that was). Filter has a seal/gasket (not really an oring) permanently bonded on the tube.
Gasket cannot get lost, fall off, or get stuck up in the transmission.
Recently read a post where the filter tube just dropped out & there was a concern whether or not the gasket was ever there to begin with ... just thought I'd point out this feature/benefit on the GM brand filter.
