NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indy

Anyone going? I'll be there Saturday. I can not wait As much as I love drag racing...I've never been to a big event like this before

No, but I am going to the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix...

You will love it.............a couple of things for you to consider........stay until the last Q runs Saturday night.....nothing in the world like fuel cars at night.....get there early, if you can, and cruise the pits........everybody is willing to talk......when there is a lull in the action, go to the other side of the pits and check out the tear-down tent....NHRA tech is a mthfckr, witness it firsthand !..........you will love it !.......maybe We'll see you there !........LeeO and I have been going there since the late 70's.........we are about 45 minutes from the track..........OH..........wear comfortable shoes, sunblock, shades, and plenty of pocket money.........hamburger is 6 $ ........ENJOY !

Thanks for the info! Maybe I'll see ya there...Lee knows what I look like, plus I will probably be sporting a Buick t-shirt of some sort (of course lol)

Kevin - As much fun as it is at the starting line, watch one of the Top Fuel rounds from the finish line. Watching vehicles go by you at 300+ MPH is almost as sweet as competing in TSM. :wink:
