Many of us have purchased one of these cars and got the short end of the stick through dishonesty.
Personally, I would spend the money up front. Been there, done that, unless you KNOW what to look for (Yeah, I was ignorant at one time
).There a HECK OF A LOT to be said for an honest seller like this one!

I know what your saying, I have been ripped off a few times myself. I feel very stong about this being a quality car even with the mileage. Thanks for the input Jerryl.

The market seems a kind of soft right now in my opinion (for whatever its worth)

An interested buyer e-mailed some questions yesterday, they are very good questions! I thought I would share the questions and answers with everyone else.
1 p/seat function properly? Yes
2 what condition are the seals /weatherstripping dew sweeps? Good all around
3 Any wear marks on carpet? Two small worn spots on Drivers side, every where else the carpet is in very good condition
4 All the spare tire harware there? Yes it is all there!
5 Any engine work done(ie timing chain, valve springs, gaskets etc...)? NO
6 whats the condition of the drivers seat? Fair/Good could use a new drivers side cover, the rest of the seats are in excellent condition
7 Hows the support feel in the drivers seat? excellent
8 Is the engine and trans # matching? Yes
9 what aftermarket exh system was installed(dual or single mufflers)? Dual aftermarket
10 What aftermarket fuel pump was installed? No aftermarket, pump replaced 3/16/1989 at 9,309 miles warranty work
11 Is the headliner abs or original? Replace Headliner Jun 2006
12 Does it still have the original catylitic or is it aftermarket. is it
punched? Punched converter at this time, I have a good honeycomb converter that will be included in the deal
13 Any fluid leaks ( coolant, eng oil, trans, etc..)? Rear transmission seal leaks and needs replaced, also the oil pan seal has a slow leak and needs replaced as well. I really wanted this to be done by now, but I had major surgery in April and I am just now getting back to normal.
14 Is the undercarriage undercoated? Yes
15 Any front suspension work done? NO
16 How does the engine run, any abnormal noises ar smoke? Runs strong, no noises or smoke
17 Has the drivers side exh manifold been welded in the ususal spot? YES last summer
18 How does the trans perform, any slip, does the lock-up work? Works good
19 Condition of all the glass, are all windows original? All original, great condition
20 Is the powermaster rebuilt/new and when? Powermaster brake accumulator GM 18038507 replaced 10/29/98 at 89,313
21 a/c serviced or repaired, when? Checked Air Cond Syster added 14oz R-12 6/16/90 21m 170
22 Rim finish, rust, flaking dents, rash? Good condition
23 hood pad original, condition? Original, some normal crows feet cracking
24 Original turbo, condiiton? Original, good condition, always leave car running for about 1 minute before shutting it down.
25 Original radio and speakres working properly? I double checked, this is the original radio, speakers were replaced with Delco and it works properly and sounds good for 1987.
26 Any pulls rattles squeaks, how does it drive? No squeaks, rattles, drives great. Speedometer needs to be greased!
27 original rad? Heater core GM 52479872 12/3/00 104,142 miles
28 Is the engine a 305 or a v6. Only kidding Just a 6

Since I posted this car for sale, I have had four interested buyers. I contacted the buyers yesterday to see if there is still interest and three have replied saying that they are indeed interested. I returned there pm and e-mails asking them to make an offer. I have recieved one offer and I am awaiting two more at this time. If anyone else is truly interested in this car, let me know asap.
