Oh yea I forgot about the b.s. excuses. Now when purchasing power6 items and apparell, instead of choosing between several venders you now have one choice whether you like it or not. Not

So if i need headrest, i must go through JAX:confused:

Yea i know wake up.... get me up to speed here guys. :p

You mean to tell me the various vendors have been using the logo on products for probably 15 years or more and GM had no idea? That in itself seems a little hard to believe. At any rate, it really sucks that it comes to this.

So there is someguy who has so much extra time on his hands that he is checking to see if everyone is a licesened dealer? That's pretty pathetic.

now ive talked to the people at car motor sports and they seemed really nice, they sent me free bottles of cleaning solution to try out, i tryed the first stuff worked ok, wasnt too impressed, they said i would like this other stuff better, sent be a bottle but i havent gotten around to trying it yet. they seem to be nice people.

i dont hold a grudge against them, but i dont agree with this either...

It seems to me that everyone is pointing the finger at the wrong people. Buick Motorsports, in my opinion, is an oxymoron. When was the last time Buick built anything that even resembled a sports car. They don't race and everything that comes off the assembly line is geared toward the blue hairs.
GM is the bad guy here. 99% of the aftermarket accessories have been marketed to refurbish the 15/16 year old vehicles still in existance. Buick has done nothing to help us. They stopped making replacement parts after these vehicles were ten years old and the only "accessories" left are the ones that they inadvertently find when they finally clean up a shop or take inventory. They are not activley trying to sell anything for our cars. I applaud these vendors who have been active in our little community. Without them there would be no need for the logos. Why wouldn't a vendor think that after this same length of time and no activity that they couldn't use the logo.
I would like to see this subject delt with as just a general conversation and with a little less averice between parties. After all, we are all here because of the cars.

This hasn't been substantiated. GM has, however, contacted vendors.

so what about the TA block--has the Turbo6 on it:cool:

Being that TA Performance is a bigger vendor and how this block has been shown in mags such as GMHTP and Hot Rod I think GM knows about the Turbo6 logo on the block.... I'd think it's safe to say that TA Performance is licensed by GM to sell all the parts they sell because they sell a LOT of parts for the older Buicks as well as making parts now for our cars! Maybe somebody that knows TA Performance really well could better answer this though.... Maybe Nick Micale will chime in.....

To set the record straight. Car Motorsports is the one that turned everyone in. People such as Jax, Jays GN, Kirban, Turbobuicks.com etc. are some of those that got letters from GM. Car admitted to turning them all in. When it comes to Jax, they can sell a whole interior minus head rest. Kirban has sold all his logo stuff to someone else whom is trying to get the license. This is just a bunch of crap we don't need. Seems like a lot of work to upset such a small croud.

Something else I just remembered after reading the first post on this thread is how it cost $2500 a year to be licensed by GM and keep in mind that TA Performance will be selling the aluminum block for $3500 a piece....... Needless to say I think they can afford it!!! LOL!:D

Did'nt somebody at the beginning of this thread give us a hint? Well is sure dose'nt match Jax seatcovers! And you wonder why rumors start, buisnesses go under!!!! Count the letters again, also since when has Milwaukee been in Georgia. Never done buisness with either. I'm sure Jax got other custumers then turbu regal people, but come on.

I think some of you have to rethink this.........How do you all feel about the person making the copies of Jason's power plate?? Now tell me the difference. Stealing is stealing. It is a registered trademark. Its not yours to steal, and deffinately not yours to steal and complain about it in an open forum when you can't steal it anymore, and then blame the 1 guy who actually did the right thing and bought it. Religion or no religion, the 10 commandments make a helluva lotta sence to me.

A trademark is only worth something if it is enforced.
