The manual for the plx wideband states a 15*angle for the sensor install. Is that essential? I ask because most of the pics I've seen, the sensors are going straight into the dp.
Purchasing a bung this weekend and just trying to figure which one to get
TIA

Probably not.... but it only takes a second to drop a ratchet handle in there and tweak the hole (giggity)

Put it in the dp at about the 2 o'clock position facing the trans tunnel. If you look up from under the car where the dp comes down you will see a nice open area for it. The idea is to keep the tip from getting water ie; condensation dripping directly on the tip and ruining it. The bung goes straight in to the pipe.

that's the exact location I was thinking. Plenty of space there. I just didn't know if it really mattered if I needed an angle bung or straight. I'll just get the straight. Thank you Earl and Pronto for the prompt help.

No problem. If your interested in racing some time at NED let me know. There seems to be new group of 4 or 5 guys going up. The more the merrier.

Sounds great. I haven't been up there in years. Have a lot to sort out first though.
