Oil Filter Came Loose???

I went to drive my car today and noticed a small puddle of oil under the car by the oil filter area. I looked under the car and sure enough it was coming from where the oil filter screws into the motor. I wiped the excess oil away and retightened the oil filter by hand. I changed the oil three weeks ago. I am using a AC/Delco PF-47 oil filter. I was wondering has this ever happened to anyone else?

Something you may want to do is to remove the oil filter, drain the oil out of the filter and look at the center tube inside the filter.
I suggest doing this before driving the car again.

If the tube isn't round but looks like it has been squeezed in on four sides, you have trouble with the oil bypass pressure valve.
I blew the o-ring out from the filter three times before I looked inside my filter. BTDT.
